Dr. Szasz: Psychiatry Stigmatizes

Dr. Thomas Szasz is one of the leading critics of psychiatry, having openly been a critic since the publication of his book “The Myth of Mental Illness” in 1961. Dr. Szasz co-founded the Citizens Commission on Human Rights in 1969. Here’s a four minute video about psychiatry in which Dr. Szasz talks about the ways in which psychiatric labeling is no more than stigmatization, and how drugging of children is poisoning them, not treating them. (Sorry, that link to the video has been hijacked to malware as of 11/2017. I will re-post it when it is safe.)
