What is Scientology - a good overview of the subject. Why does it need an overview? Because it has so many pieces - drug education and rehabilitation, promotion of literacy through specific tools, handling of spiritual trauma, self-improvement, etc.

The Scientology Handbook - well, it's actually so big it is a "two-handed" book, not a "hand-book", but it does have most of the basic information about the subject of Scientology in it. Worth reading and applying. I use little booklets based on the chapters of this book for helping my friends with their difficulties.
