Thanks so much for taking the time to write your post, which I’m not going to put on my blog.

I disagree with most of what you are saying, including the necessity of presenting both sides of any issue. That’s a holdover from the dialectical materialism theory of how knowledge is gained or shared. I’m sure you’re familiar with it - thesis, antithesis, and synthesis resulting from that conflict of thesis and antithesis. Unfortunately, that system precludes people from making rational decisions based on what is more survival or less survival for themselves, their families, their groups, and mankind. Think of it this way: child molesters have their reasons for what they are doing. Should one, whenever talking about child molesters, present “both sides” of that issue? Arsonists setting fires have their reasons; should one, whenever one discusses them, give equal weight and an equal amount of importance to their motivations? As a journalist, I’ve made the conscious decision not to do that. Call me judgmental–that itself is a judgment that won’t offend me–but I believe we as journalists have the responsibility to have the courage of our convictions, and that that is more important.

My belief is that psychiatry is evil in that it seeks to stifle what makes children children; their sense of wonder, their frequent change of focus, their “inability” to do one thing for hours or minutes at a time because they are interested in so many things and unhappy enough to let their parents and teachers know they can’t stand being constrained, by being disruptive.

In my view, giving children a drug cocktail so that they won’t be disruptive is a violation of the basic human right of that child to be a child, and is just plain insane. The child is being disruptive because the *system* in which he is placed is wrong. He is trying to tell you that it needs to be changed. When 8 million kids are being drugged every day in the USA alone for basically being children, that indicates plainly to me that the psychiatric drug industry and their psychiatrist puppets are so far out of control that they and their influence need to be extirpated completely from modern society.

I believe that people learn by example and by reaching an ever-expanding and continuing series of small understandings about what they are looking at. When you ask me to post your comments containing the justifications a psychiatrist or a parent has for drugging a child, when they know that these drugs are incredibly addictive, that they can cause suicidal ideation and homicidal ideation, I am appalled that you think these reasons are worth giving *any* weight or consideration.

It is the mindset of people such as yourself that I am trying to change in my posts; I do not wish to promote those views one iota by giving them a voice at the podium of my blog.
